Payment Terms

You can add money to your Wallet with a card. Wallet money is a spend-only balance for paying for calls, group sessions, Live seats and bids on Ciiyn.

Wallet money cannot be withdrawn to a bank or returned to your card. Refunds for cancelled or disputed sessions are returned to your Wallet.

Before any amount is taken from your Wallet, you will be shown the total and asked to confirm.

When you place a bid, the amount is held from your Wallet while you are the highest bidder. If you are outbid, it is returned. If you win, it pays for the call.

Money from sessions you host goes to your Earnings balance, minus Ciiyn's 15% platform fee. You see the fee and your net amount when setting a price.

Payment for a session is held for 24 hours after it ends so guests can report problems. If no issue is reported, it is released to your Earnings.

You can withdraw Earnings to your verified bank account, or move them to your Wallet to pay for calls. Payouts are processed through Stripe and require a completed payout account.

Ciiyn currently adds no sales tax to purchases. Hosts are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on their own earnings.

If a card payment is reversed, Ciiyn may deduct the amount from your Wallet or Earnings, and may suspend accounts involved in fraud or abuse.
